Winter Fun Center
Fernwood's popular Winter Fun Center has plenty of fun to offer the
whole family. The snow tubing hill is filled with eight exciting lanes,
100% snow-making, two tows and single and family tubes. The Winter Fun
Center also offers scenic horseback riding and romantic horse-drawn
sleigh rides 9an-4pm, $25. Take the edge off the winter chill with a
toasty drink and snack from Wintergreens Bar & Grill located at
the base of the snow tubing hill. Skiers, no need to fret, you can purchase
discount lift tickets to two nearby ski mountains.

Run State Park
Approximately 16 miles of ungroomed trails are open to cross-country
skiing at Hickory Run State Park. The trails vary from fairly flat to
somewhat steeper slopes, please use caution and plan according to your
